Unmechanical: Extended Edition coming to PS Vita late this year or early next
New levels, characters, and cross-buy
Unmechanical, the Bronze Award-winning 2.5D puzzler about a flying robot trapped in a dangerous subterranean compound, is coming to the Playstation Vita.
Developed by Talawa Games and published by Grip Games, Unmechanical: Extended Edition will add new levels and characters that further reveal the secrets of the underground realm where the game takes place.
It will also use Unreal Engine technology, promising to be one of the best looking games on the PS Vita.
Our review of the original Unmechanical from last year hailed the game for its "gorgeous graphics and clever puzzles," but took issue with its "slightly broken control system."
When exactly will Unmechanical: Extended Edition hit the PlayStation Store? According to Jakub Mikyska, the CEO of Grip Games, it should be later this year or early next.
When the game does come out, it will be cross-buy for the PlayStation 3 and 4. It is also coming to Xbox One.
If you never played the original Unmechanical and want to give it a go, you can buy it on the App Store for £1.99 / $2.99.
