Rumour: Uncharted: Golden Abyss for PS Vita to get multiplayer in later update
Near, or far away?
A multiplayer mode could be heading to blockbuster PS Vita title Uncharted: Golden Abyss.
A representative for Uncharted: Golden Abyss developer Bend Studio has spoken to Destructoid regarding the absent multiplayer, saying that the studio had "something different" planned and that an official announcement wasn't too far off.
The title already has Near integration, which sees bounty cards exchanged between players to complete sets (and thus earn trophies).
Whether the Bend Studio representative means an extension of this, or a full-blown multiplayer mode, is unclear at this time.
Uncharted: Golden Abyss will launch alongside the Vita on February 22nd.
