Toukiden Kiwami's PS Vita demo will have unlocks for the full game when it arrives on March 25th

Koei Tecmo will be making a demo of its beast-slaying action RPG Toukiden Kiwami available for PS Vita (and PS4) on March 25th. That's two days ahead of its European launch day on March 27th (US gets it on March 31st).

The demo will act as an introduction to the game's world of huge demons, and will be presented in two parts.

The first part, an "introductory demo," contains the first two chapters of the game. It'll also let you create your own Slayer using the in-game editor. They'll be able to wield the naginata, club, or rifle.

The second part of the demo is aimed specifically at players of Toukiden: Age of Demons. It's a set of special missions that are set at a high difficulty, requiring some knowledge of how the game works.

These missions let you preview a selection of weapons, armour, and brand new Oni that will be appear in the full game.

"Clearing all the available missions will allow a gamer to get a glimpse of Chapter 8- where the brand new 'Kiwami' portion of the story begins," Koei Tecmo notes.

"Additionally, clearing all missions unlocks various special features and items that can be carried over to the full game."

You'll be able to download the demo for free on the PS Vita store on March 25th.

You can find out more about the game on its website.
