Japanese indie game publisher Playism is bringing FullPowerSideAttack's award-winning platformer TorqueL to PS Vita.

In fact, it is already available for 1000 yen (just over £5) in the Japanese PlayStation store or PS Vita and PS4.

It will be heading to the European and North American stores in the near future. It will also be released on Steam on January 22nd.

It's a 2D platformer in which you roll a guy inside a square over lava pits, around moving machines, and up to high ledges across 50 chambers.

Each of the four sides of the square correspond to a button that, when pressed, extends a long rectangle from that side. This is how you climb and otherwise manipulate the square over the obstacles.

A prototype version of TorqueL was released back in 2013. Since then, it has picked up multiple awards for its design and use of physics at the Tokyo Game Show and other events.

You can find out more about TorqueL on its official website.
