PS3 bullet-hell shmup Söldner-X2: Final Prototype arrives on PS Vita this month

SideQuest Studios is helping Eastasiasoft to bring its PS3 bullet-hell shmup Söldner-X2: Final Prototype to PS Vita this month.

It'll be available in the US on March 17th for $9.99. While Europe gets it a day later on March 19th for €9.99.

Its expansion, "The Last Chapter," will also be available at launch for an extra $4.99 / €4.99. It adds three extra stages, 13 challenges, and 11 trophies.

However, you'll also be able to get the main game and the expansion for the slightly cheaper price of $12.99 / €12.99 as a bundle.

Söldner-X2: Final Prototype is closer to a Euro-style shmup, meaning it's a horizontal side-scroller that moves a little slower than other, vertically-scrolling shooters.

But it doesn't let down on the streams of colourful bullets thrown at you in complex patterns to dodge by huge bosses.

Across its 10 stages, you aim to save the galaxy from the D'aarg. It has a dynamic score-linked difficulty system and online leaderboards.

The PS Vita version will apparently run at a smooth 60 frames per second.

You can find out more about the game on its website.
