We have a contender for Kirby in the "cutest game character" category. It's a small green blob called Filo. And he's able to clone himself so there's even more cuteness, too.

Filo can be found in a game called So Many Me, which is currently up on Kickstarter seeking funding so that the last 20 percent of the game can be finished.

It's a 2D puzzle platformer in which you'll have to make good use of Filo's cloning abilities. His clones are called "Me", and they're able to transform into different shapes and colours.

Turn one into a stone block, and Filo and the trail of clones behind him can use it to cross a large pit. If there's red flowers spitting out toxic spores, use a clone's Luna ability to change the direction of the spores using moonlight.

There's many more of these abilities to discover across the game's five chapters. Each of the chapters also has its own feel, with blue skies being traded for the darkness of mines, or the red magma or a volcano.

If you're a Vita owner, you may be excited to hear that the developer of So Many Me already has a dev kit ready to port the game to your handheld.

However, the $65,000 stretch goal needs to be reached before it will be possible to make the port. So if you'd like to see So Many Me on your Vita, you better dig deep.
