Despite seeing its release date slip, the latest trailer for Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time proves that you can’t keep a good raccoon down, or out of your rubbish bins for that matter.

A post on the PlayStation Blog confirmed that the latest installment of the Sly Cooper series is on track for a February 5th release date and that the title will still support Sony's Cross Buy feature.

Additionally, it will support Cross Saves as well – so you can toggle between playing on your PS3 and Vita whenever you'd like.

You sly devil

While we know a lot about what we can expect from the game itself, we don't know too much about its plot yet. Thankfully, the newly released story trailer answers those questions and more as it boldly (and rhetorically) asks, "Who is Sly?"

The trailer also shows off a fair bit of gameplay footage and also gives a sly peek at Peter McConnell's jazz-inspired soundtrack for the game.

Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time will be released on February 5th for the Vita and PlayStation 3.
