Shutshimi is a shmup starring a fish with giant, muscular arms heading to Vita
Fish fingers
Choice Provisions, the people behind the BIT.TRIP games, has announced a new publishing arm. Alongside this it has revealed the first games it will be handling.
One of those is Neon Deity Games's Shutshimi.
It's a ridiculous, randomized arcade shooter about a fish with human arms. Not just that: these arms are hench and come bearing guns.
The idea is quite simple. You side-scroll through waves of enemies blasting the crap out of them with your bullet-morphing shotgun.
But, being a fish, you have memory problems, and this adds a caveat. All of the waves and upgrades only last 10 seconds.
This means the game is constantly reinventing itself as you swim your way to each of the big bosses. It should make for something quite chaotic, then.
There are also hats to collect for your muscular fish to wear. Why? Because video games, that's why.
