Just like the Nintendo 3DS before it, the PlayStation Vita is getting a Ridge Racer game at launch.

However, it appears that this upcoming Vita edition will have a rather special price tag attached to it if its Japanese RRP is anything to go by.

According to Andriasang, Ridge Racer Vita will be available to buy for ¥3,980 (£33.20) at retail, and ¥3,580 (£29.87) digitally. That's cheaper than all the other currently priced Japanese Vita releases.

If you buy early, too, there's an even larger discount to be had. Those who pick up the digital version before March 31st, 2012 will be able to grab it for a mere ¥2,980 (£24.86).

There's no word yet on whether this offer will carry over to Europe, but we're sure hoping so.
