GAME’s flagship store on Oxford Street, London will be the official host venue for the UK launch of the PS Vita.
GAME and Gamestation stores nationwide will be opening their doors at midnight next Tuesday to allow eager fans to get their mitts on Sony’s powerhouse portable as soon as it hits shelves.
The Oxford Street store will be host to a meet-and-greet with WipEout 2048 developers Karl Jones and Ami Ledger, and will offer up goody bags containing PlayStation Network vouchers and merchandise.
The customer first in line will also win a year's supply of Vita games.
Life of the party Queuing fans will also be treated to an exclusive after-party at the PlayStation Vita Rooms with DJ sets and refreshments.
GAME and Gamestation have been heavily promoting the Vita in the lead-up to next week's launch, with demo units on hand at over 600 of their stores.
The PS Vita launches in Europe and North America on February 22nd.
Sony Australia is doing very little for the Aussies customers for any stores to have/host a midnight launch.
We will have to wait till shops open up at 9.00 am (23/02/12) to pick up out pre-orders PS Vita and games.
It’s like Sony Australia do not care for their new product and customers.
