This week on the PS Vita Store: PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, Virtue's Last Reward, and Chronovolt

Too... much... choice

Product: PlayStation Vita | Manufacturer: Sony Computer Entertainment

Oh, my goodness.

This is a good week to own a PS Vita, let me tell you. But, it's a terrible week to be a person who has to write up something on every new game that's available for Vita this week.

I mean, seriously, there's more fresh digital Vita content this week than you could possibly imagine. Read on if you don't believe me. Dare you.

Full-price releases

Here we go, then.

There are two big PS Vita releases this week. PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale is #1, and it's priced £29.99 / $35.99. It's definitely worth a punt if you're up for a great multiplayer battler (although we'd suggest you grab it for PS3, for you get the Vita version free with that).

But, if you can only afford to grab one new game this week, make it Virtue's Last Reward. Our Peter called it "a mature, sophisticated, and delightfully dark whodunnit adventure". That's £29.99 to you, me, and her.

But, wait... there's more.

A cute little steampunk platformer called Chronovolt - which I'll be reviewing for you later this week - is now available, and it costs £4.99. Well, except if you're a PS Plus subscriber - check below for details on that.

A HD remake of classic Dreamcast skating / graffiti game Jet Set Radio? Why, yes, please. That's £6.49 / $9.99 to all you non-PS Plus subscribers.

Lego Lord Of The Rings is also available to download, and it follows in the footsteps of previous hilarious Lego games. We haven't reviewed it yet, but we've heard great things about it.

Sine Mora is a top-down explosive shooter that debuted on Xbox 360 earlier this year. Good news: it's now available to download on Vita for £7.99 / $9.99. Expect a review for that on PG soon, too.

If you're in the US, you'll be delighted to read that PlayStation 2 classic RPG Persona 4 has been remade in HD for the Vita. Persona 4: Golden costs $39.99. From what I've read, it's pretty much a must-have for RPG buffs.

Oh, one final thing - there's a free "discovery app" out called T@g, which invites you to use your Vita camera to "tag" places with graffiti. It's free, so, errrr, why not.

Phew. Onto PS Mobile...

PlayStation Mobile releases

This week, PS Mobile users can get their mitts on Arctic Adventures: Brain Freeze. Cast in the role of a polar bear (!), you have to push ice blocks around so that you're able to get to the exit. A platform-puzzler, if you will. £1.59 if you're interested.

Then, there's Bullion Blitz, which is completely free to download. It's a puzzler in which you tap blocks. It really doesn't look all that bad, especially considering it's free.

PS minis time.

Mobile classic Jetpack Joyride has just flown onto PS Vita, but it ain't free like it is on iOS and Android. Fork out £3.49 / $3.99 to get a taste of the Barry Steakfries.

Finally, Break Quest Bundle contains two games about bouncing a ball and breaking bricks. Sound familiar? That's $4.49 for you American gamers.

PlayStation Plus games and offers

The PlayStation Plus service went live for PS Vita this week, meaning that those who are paying the yearly subscription fee will start getting lots of free games and discounts for their handheld. Hurrah!

To start you off, European PS Plus subscribers can get Uncharted: Golden Abyss, Gravity Rush, Chronovolt, and Tales From Space: Mutant Blobs Attack for 'free' on Vita.

Americans can get Uncharted: Golden Abyss, Gravity Rush, WipEout 2048, Jet Set Radio, Final Fantasy Tactics, and Tales from Space: Mutant Blobs Attack for free. You lucky sods.

As for discounts, well, there are far too many to list.

European Vita users can expect to receive a 20 per cent discount on the following, though: Escape Plan, Hustle Kings, MotorStorm RC, Super Stardust Delta, Top Darts, Little Deviants, ModNation Racers: Road Trip, Reality Fighters, and Unit 13.

If you want to know whether it's worth grabbing any of those, simply click on the links above to read the respective reviews.

PSP and PSone Classics

We're nearly there. Promise.

The digital version of foot-to-ball game PES 2013 is out for PSP for £15.99. American gamers, meanwhile, can find Elminage Original for $14.99.

And what of Classic PSone games?

Well, Tomba 2: The Evil Swine Return is available for £3.19. That's your lot, though.

Wow... that was an intense week. As long as I recover in time, see you back here next week for some more news of PS Vita Store goodies.
