This week on the PS Vita Store: Super Monkey Ball Blitz, Street Fighter X Tekken, and Zero Escape

Reach for your PS Vitas, my friends: games are upon us. The PlayStation Store has been updated, so there are new Vita and PS Mobile titles to grab for your handheld right now.

There are full-price games, some DLC packs, download-only titles - you name it, the PS Store's got it. Unless you're looking for something that isn't a game. Then, it probably doesn't have it. Sorry.

So, here's what's new for Vita on the PlayStation Store - and whether these titles are worth grabbing or not.

Here in Europe, you will be able to download Super Monkey Ball: Banana Splitz from today. This is a game that I recently called "a return to form for the Super Monkey Ball series, and well worth a roll". It's a bit pricey at £29.99 / €34.99, mind - best to check online retailers for a better price.

Also available from today is Street Fighter X Tekken, priced at a whopping £39.99. We reviewed the mobile version recently, which was a bit gorgeous, so hopefully this PS Vita edition will be spiffing, too.

MUD - FIM Motocross World Championship will land on the PS Store on Friday 26th, and will undoubtedly walk away with the award for 'Most Acronym-Heavy Game Title of the Month'. Our Peter will publish his thoughts on the game soon for you.

US Vita gamers are also in luck. On top of Super Monkey Ball: Banana Splitz and Street Fighter X Tekken, you finally get Frobisher Says for free. Plus, Orgarhythm is now available to download for $29.99. Not a bad price, at all.

The big piece of new for the Americans, however, is that Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward, the sequel to 9 Hours, 9 Persons, 9 Doors on the Nintendo DS, is now ready to play, and will set you back $34.99. We are seriously jealous.

A quick mention should also go to the Pure Chess Halloween Treat Bundle DLC. Pure Chess is pretty great, so if you're looking to partake in some seasonal DLC - albeit it a rather high price - look no further.

OK, so PlayStation Mobile hasn't really got fully going yet. Nevertheless, there's a great release this week for you to try out on Sony's new digital service.

Rock Boshers DX is from Tikipod, the team behind Aqua Kitty - Milk Mine Defender, and it's a demake of the PC shooter Red Faction.

The original was released on PC a few years ago, but this deluxe version can now light up your PS Vita (or PlayStation Certified device, for that matter). It'll set you back a cool £2.59 / €3.29.

There's also ZooZooGo!, a sort of puzzle game mash-up that blends match-three with Mahjong and sliding block puzzles. Maybe not everyone's cup of tea, but available for £2.59 / €3.29 nonetheless.

What else do we have here, then...? Ah, yes, it's some classic PSone games, ready for downloading onto your Vita. And we're talking genuine classics here.

How does the original Pong take your fancy? How about Centipede? Missile Command? Virtual Pool? All available for your Vita from the PlayStation Store, all extremely retro.

Finally, you can also download the original Final Fantasy III, if the FF series is your sort of thing.
