Rumour: NGP RAM halved to 256MB
Less power = lower price?
If rumours circulating today are to be believed, it sounds like Sony may be cutting down the power behind its upcoming NGP handheld in order to reduce the final asking price.
Various reports, originating from French site 01net, are claiming that the NGP has had its memory cut down from 512MB of RAM to 256MB.
It's speculated that this cutback will put the consumer price more in line with the Nintendo 3DS.
Nothing has been confirmed by Sony yet.
