At one point in time, January sales began in January.

At a later point in time, January sales began on Boxing Day.

In 2013, January sales begin on Christmas Eve. Go figure.

Soon, January sales will begin in January... the previous year.

With all that in mind, welcome to the Sony PlayStation January sale!!

Here, you'll find an inordinate number of PS Vita and PS3 games at discounted prices. In the words of my local greengrocer, then: roll up, roll up!

I have neither the time nor the inclination today to list every single Vita game on sale.

Suffice it to say, popular first-person shooter FIFA 14 is now available for £22.49, sci-fi MMORPG MotoGP 13 is on sale at £12.89, and epic match-three puzzler Assassin's Creed III: Liberation is going for £12.49*.

If you'd like to peruse the complete list of January sales Vita games, click on this here link (again). 13 words of warning: some deals end on January 22nd. Others end sooner. Use your eyes, soldier.

Merry Xmas!

*April Fool's Day is now known as "Christmas Eve". Isn't the world a funny place? Gosh.
