Things don't look good for the PS Vita version of Nom Nom Galaxy
Work has stopped on it for now
It seems that the previously announced PS Vita version of Q-Games's co-op multiplayer game Nom Nom Galaxy won't be happening.
Double Eleven, the game's publisher, took to the PlayStation Blog recently to announce that the PS4 version would be out in the US on May 12th.
There was no mention of the PS Vita version, though, which triggered one person to bring this up in the comments.
Gareth Wright, Double Eleven's design manager, then decided to respond in order to explain what's going on with the PS Vita version.
"Regards Vita the reason is quite simple," Martin said, "we had to stop work on it so that we could focus on providing the best possible console experience on PS4 without sacrificing the game’s ambition and content."
"It came down to cost and scheduling both platforms, and without cutting a ton of core features (on both platforms) the Vita just wasn't going to be possible at the same time," Martin continued.
Martin also said that it wasn't an "easy decision" for the studio to make as it made its name on the PS Vita.
He then finished up by saying that Double Eleven still loves the PS Vita, so he'd "Never say never" to Nom Nom Galaxy appearing on it.
