However you want to kill it, Sony has you covered this July

PlayStation Plus subscribers will get Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus and Unit 13 for free in July

From July 3rd, European PlayStation Plus subscribers will gain free access to two Vita games.

Their names? Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus and Unit 13.

Keen observers of Japanese naming conventions may well be able to work out that Tecmo Koei's Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus is the PS Vita version of the classic Xbox slash-'em-up Ninja Gaiden.

At review, we gave Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus a 6/10, and cited its "camera issues, screen size, and controls" as the reasons for it failing to live up to its predecessors.

If swords and magic aren't your thing however, Zipper Interactive is on hand to sate your shooty-shooty lust for 'free' next month with Unit 13.

This mission-based modern military FPS may be somewhat light on story, but its arcade combat and bite-sized missions were well suited to the Vita. Thus, we handed it one of those there Pocket Gamer Bronze Awards.

If you're lucky enough to own a PS3 and have a PS Plus subscription, you'll also get free access to Battlefield 3, Saint's Row the Third, and Payday: The Heist in July.

Leaving the service in July are Coconut Dodge and the sensational Rayman Origins for Vita.

Now all I have to do is buy a second memory card for all these free games. Thanks, Sony.

True, he could have woken up at 6am each day to play with friends online in the UK, but he was never a morning person. Instead, he preferred a succession of meaningless encounters with Japanese teenagers. Now, he is hooked.
