Classic hack 'n slasher Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus joins Vita launch line-up

Tecmo Koei has announced that classic hack n' slasher Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus will be leaping onto the PlayStation Vita launch line-up next month.

A remake of the PlayStation 3 title (which itself was a remastered version of the Xbox original), Sigma Plus makes use of its new platform's unique features to add some new elements to the familiar formula.

You can now use the gyro sensor to take aim with Ryu Hayabusa's bow, for instance, or launch powerful ninpo attacks by gently caressing the rear touch panel.

Softening the blow

The notoriously harsh action game also introduces a Hero mode that makes impressive moves easier to inflict on your foes, while adding automatic guard and evasion assists for avoiding the inevitable retaliation.

Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus will launch alongside the PS Vita on February 22nd.
