Frantic fencing fighter Nidhogg arrives on PS Vita in Europe today
Showdown
Messhof's 1v1 fencing game Nidhogg graces its pixels on PlayStation Vita in Europe today.
It was released on Vita in the US back in October, almost a month ago. Apparently there were some snags in QA that kept the European version back.
It's given us plenty of time to sharpen our swords, though. So if you have £11.99 / €14.99 spare, it's time to put them to good use.
Oh, and if you're a PS Plus member you get a 20 percent discount on that price for the next two weeks.
It's also cross-buy and cross-play, so you get the PS4 version as well. And with PlayStation TV compatibility you can play it on the big screen even if you only own a Vita.
Nidhogg involves fighting against an opponent as you try to run across the screen to embrace the titular pink dragon-thing. That's how you win.
It's a fast-paced game or sword pokes, disarms, and daring jumps across treacherous environments.
You can play with friends online and locally, or you can take on the AI in the single player option.
