New Little King's Story, Stealth Inc, The Jak and Daxter Trilogy, and Urban Trial Freestyle are your free PS Plus Vita games for September

Sony has just confirmed next month's free PS Plus games for Vita.

Chief among them is Konami's Silver Award-winning RPG / strategy / city-building classic New Little King's Story.

It's an ambitious game in which you explore a vast world, recruit an army, fight giant boss battles, and try to reclaim your kingdom from the terrible beasties that have taken it over.

At review, we said that "New Little King's Story is a tale worth telling. A great real-time strategy / role-playing hybrid, now on the go."

Also popping up on PS Plus in September will be Urban Trial Freestyle, the Bronze Award-winning homage to Trials HD.

It's a game about riding a motocross bike over a series of bumpy tracks. You're hampered at every undulation by a cruel physics engine that 'wants' you to fall off.

When we reviewed Urban Trial Freestyle, we said: "If you're positively craving a Trials-ish game on your handheld... this is as good an outlet as any."

Cross and not disappointed

Then, there's Stealth Inc: A Clone in the Dark. This is a Cross Buy title, so if you bag it for your PS3, you can play it on your Vita for nowt (and vice versa). Vita versa?

We gave the game a Bronze Award at review, saying that "in case you haven't had enough puzzle platforming on PS Vita, Stealth Inc: A Clone in the Dark provides the goods."

Finally, in another Cross Buy cross-pollination crossover, there's The Jak and Daxter Trilogy. We also handed this a Bronze Award.

"Though fans of the series may be able to excuse its technical issues, this isn't the top-end collection it could have been to attract new players to this classic series," our Peter said. So, there you go.

All four of these PS Plus Vita games will be available to download on August 28th. On the very same day, Lego The Lord of the Rings and When Vikings Attack will be leaving the service.
