Metal Gear 1 and 2 to feature in Vita HD Collection

Another day, another slice of Metal Gear Solid: HD Collection news to share.

While the Vita version of the collection is missing Peace Walker (and, of course, MGS1), a new trailer released today by Konami has revealed that it will still carry the two original Metal Gear games (as with the PS3 version).

Naturally, these two 20-odd-year-old MSX2 titles don't feature any of the 3D graphics of the modern titles included in the bundle, but they should be interesting for those that want to see the series's humble beginnings.

Those with exceptional memories (like our Anthony) will recall that these two games featured in the PS2 version of Metal Gear Solid 3, so their presence in this forthcoming Vita collection shouldn't come as too big a surprise.

Still, at least a few things haven't been left behind for the portable version of the game.

Metal Gear Solid: HD Collection is expected to arrive on Vita in "late June". Check out the latest trailer below.
