Metal Gear Solid HD Collection Vita arriving ‘late June’
Summer of Snake. Snake? Snaake!
We already knew that Solid Snake, Big Boss, and chums would be hurtling onto the PS Vita in the Summer, but now we know the date. Sort of.
Yes, the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection will be winging its way onto the system in ‘late June’, with the press release going on to elaborate by saying ‘the end of June’ a little further down. Our guess is therefore either the 22nd or 29th, given that Friday is the traditional release day for new titles.
What’s in the collection, you ask? Well it’s only Metal Gear Solid 2 and 3 - two of the finest action-stealth, cutscene-heavy, easter egg-packing games of the PS2 era.
The PSP title MGS: Peace Walker, found in the PS3 version of the pack, isn’t present on the Vita release. However, you can always pop over to the PS Store and buy it as a separate game (for £15.99), if you want to complete the pack.
