Arc System Works might be best known for its incredible 2D brawlers, but it's also thrown its hat into the music game ring. And the result of that hat-throwing is Magical Beat.

The game is set to hit the PSN in North America tomorrow, and it features music from the BlazBlue and Guilty Gear series. There are painfully adorable pixel-art versions of some of the characters from those classic scrappers in there as well.

The game is a cute-as-hell puzzle game with a thick beat-based core. Imagine Columns but with more drops. And better.

Magical Beat should be out in North America tomorrow. Hopefully it should hit the EU PSN Store pretty soon after that, but we wouldn't advise holding your breath, just in case.
