LittleBigPlanet Karting not ruled out for PS Vita

With the recent release of LittleBigPlanet PS Vita, many a mobile gamer's mind is fixed on the adventures of Media Molecule's famous Sackboy.

But does the future of the PS Vita have more in store for Sackboy than an appearance in the upcoming brawler PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale?

A recent interview with TheSixthAxis reveals that Sackboy just might pull his racing game, LittleBigPlanet Karting (currently in development for the PlayStation 3) up to the Vita once its console version is complete.

The key word is "might"

While no firm words were given on the subject one way or another, TheSixthAxis asked the producer of LittleBigPlanet Karting, Jen Timms, if there were plans to bring the game to the PS Vita.

Timms's response left the door wide open, but refused to disclose specifics:

"...it (the PS Vita)'s a logical place for it to end up but there's nothing set in stone yet… honestly, we're heads down and focussed on that (the PS3 version) right now, but like I said there are just so many more places for it to be and it would be great to see it on a handheld, so we'll just have to wait and see."

We'll be joining Timms as we wait and see whether this cute karting game will make its way to the PS Vita, and we'll be sure to keep you updated on it should a mobile version make its way into production.
