Kickstart this: Kodama is a gorgeous-looking platforming physics-puzzler full of Japanese mythology

Developer: Daniel Elvins
Format: PS Vita
Genre: Platform, Puzzle
Kodama is a new physics-platformer from developer Dan Elvins that's in the midst of a Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign.
The target funding sum is £26,000, but there's a Vita stretch goal at £50,000. So, that's how much I'd like you all to pledge today.
The game looks a bit like Limbo, but without the enduring misery that dribbles through every corner of Playdead's classic.
You play the titular character, who's a sort-of plant elemental. You need to constantly regulate the amount of water and light you're absorbing.
Suck in too much liquid and you'll pop. Don't take on enough light and your leaves fall off and your movement slows.
You'll need to use these status changes to your advantage, getting heavier to weigh down a log, then drying out to roll a rock up to the top of it.
If any of that sounds like it might be up your street, head over to Kodama's Kickstarter page and throw enough money at it so I can play it on my Vita. Thanks.
