Gold Award-winning spaceship roguelike FTL will not be heading to Vita

We were all very grateful that Subset Games ported Gold Award-winning space-based roguelike FTL: Faster Than Light over to iPad earlier this year.

However, any hopes of it ever surfacing on Vita have just been dashed.

Justin Ma of Subset tweeted that the reason for FTL's absence from Vita is due to the screen size being too small. Apparently, Subset looked into porting the game over to Sony's handheld "extensively" but saw no way for it to work.

It's a shame, but at least you know not to get your hopes up now.

Oh, and you can still purchase FTL from the App Store for £6.99 / $9.99.
