Color Guardians is, well, it's darn colourful, is what it is.

It's a side-scrolling mix of platformer, action, and an auto-runner. You play as three Guardians - Rod, Lia, and Grock - as they attempt to retrieve the colour stolen from the world by the thief Krogma.

There are 70 stages to beat in which you must jump and dodge incoming hazards. But the main mechanics are switching lanes and changing the Guardians' colour to survive.
So, it has the colour-matching dodge play of Ikaruga, but is dressed up in something a little more toddler-friendly.

If you want more of a challenge, then you can also look out for hidden unlockables in the stages. Plus, you can compete with friends to get the highest score.

Color Guardians will be coming to PS Vita on April 14th. Check out its website for more details.
