That’s one way to declassify it

Like a true black ops commando, the upcoming PS Vita first-person shooter Call of Duty: Black Ops - Declassified has been keeping a very low profile.

After E3, all we knew about the game came from its logo and the vague assurance that it would support “seamless online connectivity”. Now we have a few more details to report, courtesy of an early product posting by Walmart.

The posting lists the price of Black Ops - Declassified at $49.96 and provides new details about the scope of the game in addition to its box art.

Prequel: Declassified

Black Ops - Declassified will take players back to the beginning of the Call of Duty: Black Ops game universe and ‘explores original fiction’ surrounding those early events.

It also advertises that the story mode and multiplayer combat will be tailored to the PS Vita, which likely means the missions will be of a shorter, more episodic nature so as not to bog down gamers on the go.

The description follows, in full.

'Before the future could be won, history had to be written. Exposing that story exclusively on PlayStation Vita, Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified explores original fiction in the Call of Duty Black Ops universe with an all-new campaign of Special Ops missions. Optimized for gamers on-the-go, Call of Duty Black Ops: Declassified delivers the most intense handheld Call of Duty experience to date, including both Special Ops Story mode and Multiplayer combat tailored for the PS Vita.'
