Tough pixel art platformer 1001 Spikes is available on PS Vita in Europe at last

At long bloody last. 1001 Spikes has been out in the US on the PS Vita for well over a year now while us Europeans had to sit and wait.

That's changed at last as the game is now available in the European PlayStation Store as of yesterday.

1001 Spikes got a Silver Award from us. Our reviewer noted that yes, it "will frustrate," but added that "its retro difficulty is worthy of a seasoned player's time."

You play as Aban Hawkins who uses his father's map to track down the treasures in the forgotten ruins of Ukampa Temple in South America.

Expect to die a lot.
