You might think our sister site Pocket Gamer.biz is... well a bit business-y. The clue is found at the end of the URL. But on this occasion, we thought you might be interested to check out the list of the best, and the worst, reviewed mobile games of 2008 so far.
The process is simple, if time consuming. Basically we average out the review scores gained by mobile games across five of the most popular consumer websites and then put them in a big list.

Top of the list was RealArcade's Playman Summer Games 3, with a score of 8.97, closely followed by HandyGames' Townsmen 5, and Exozet Games' Catan: The First Island.
As for the worst games, let's just say movie licenses may get publishers space on the operators' decks but they generally don't make for quality interactive experiences, as those of you who have recently bought games based on recent muscle- and metal-bound superhero films will have found out.
