| XX+ Game Jam

Calling all game lovers, developers, and general enthusiasts! On the 14th-15th October this year a 24-hour games jam by XX+ will be taking place in the UK, but not quite your regular sort.

Held at four different locations – London, Bristol, Brighton, and Leamington Spa – the games jam is running to help encourage diversity in games development. So if you're female, trans-gender, or non-binary folk from all backgrounds, please sign up and take part in this awesome event.

No previous experience is needed to take part: from those with games industry credentials to people from university/college with creative interests. I'm looking at you artists, filmmakers, sound designers, programmers, storytellers, coders, gamers, and so on.

At the start of the jam you'll be formed into multi-disciplinary teams and will have 24 hours to invent and design a game – these will then be judged by a professional panel at the end and prizes will be awarded thereafter.

As mentioned earlier, the jam will be from the 14th-15th October, starting at 18:00 on Friday through to 18:00 on Saturday. Spaces are limited and the application deadline is the 4th October so be quick about it!

To apply for a place, email [email protected] with:

You must be 18 years or older to take part.
