Nintendo delays Pokemon GO Plus until September
So more 'Pokemon In-a-bit' than 'Pokemon GO'?
Despite all of the excitement surrounding today's gamers now Pokemon GO is out there is still room for disappointment as Nintendo pushes it complementary accessory, Pokemon GO Plus, on a few months to September instead.
The #PokemonGO Plus accessory will arrive in Sept. instead of the originally expected end of July. Thanks for your patience, Trainers! — Nintendo UK (@NintendoUK) July 27, 2016
Both Nintendo UK and US announced this morning "The #PokemonGO Plus accessory will arrive in Sept. instead of the originally expected end of July. Thanks for your patience, Trainers!" That's okay, Nintendo, the main thing is that it's still coming.
Pokemon GO Plus is going to be pretty awesome. Retailing at £34.99, the accessory lets you continue your Pokemon GO spree without looking at your phone. In communicating with a flashing LED and vibration, the device lets you know when a Pokemon is near or when you're passing a PokeStop.
Hopefully we won't be looking at any further delays but anything is possible. At least for us in the UK it's currently out of stock at the moment so keep an eye on Nintendo's website if you haven't ordered Pokemon GO Plus already.
Until then find out a little more about the accessory on their website here.
