This Thursday, NimbleBit's Pocket Planes will touch down on the Mac App Store, which means you'll finally be able to create and run your very own airline on Apple's range of iMacs and MacBooks.

Right about now, you're probably wondering why we're telling you this. Well, it's because Pocket Planes for the Mac will allow you to sync your progress with the iPhone and iPad version of the game.

That means the new airports and planes you unlock on your Mac will be available to you when you grab your iPhone, and vice versa.

Speaking of planes, the Mac version of NimbleBit's latest freemium title will feature an exclusive jet called the X10 Mapple Pro - an obvious nod to the Cupertino-based company's products.

In-flight entertainment

The Tiny Tower developer has also commissioned several animated shorts from a studio called Loading Ready Run. These humour-filled videos finally give the franchise's bitizens voices.

You can watch the first of these short videos below.
