Glen Fox heads up Pocket Gamer as our new Editor
|

We've got very exciting news today as we announce Glen Foxy: The Game - nah, I'm just kidding. Today we're thrilled to announce that our own Deputy Editor extraordinaire, Mr Glen Fox, has been appointed as Editor of PocketGamer.co.uk. A round of applause please, everyone.

Fox started his career back in 2012 when he started blogging, writing guides for Prima Games, and then headed up a Hong-Kong based mobile games studio as lead writer. In 2014 he started writing for Steel Media, rising quickly up the ranks to become editor of Quality Index and 148 Apps, before subsequently taking up a position as Deputy Editor with Pocket Gamer.

As Fox is a keen and enthusiastic chap this next era of Pocket Gamer brings about a new and exciting chapter as we continue to produce important news, guides, features, videos, and opinion pieces. The site will also be getting a makeover come 2017 so brace yourselves, ladies and gents.

"I'm truly delighted to be appointed as Pocket Gamer's editor and I'm proud to be part of such an awesome team at Steel Media, who continue to thrive on the cutting edge of the industry," says our beloved Editor. "I firmly believe that 2016 was the biggest year in mobile yet. We saw the launch of the ultimate mobile game in Clash Royale, the biggest mobile game ever in Pokemon GO, and breakout hits like Slither.io and Color Switch, demonstrating that you don't need a publisher to make it big. That's a huge positive that no other platform to date has offered." Amen to that.

Please join us all in congratulating Fox's fantastic promotion and know that with him on the case, Pocket Gamer will continue to grow and thrive as the leading website for mobile and handheld gamers.
