Tommo Inc. and SNK Playmore have announced that the NeoGeo X Gold entertainment system, which is a handheld gaming device that boasts the features of a home arcade, will be released worldwide this December with an RRP of $199.99.

For your moolah, you'll get your sweaty mitts on the NeoGeo X handheld, a NeoGeo X station, and a NeoGeo X joystick. The station and joystick will allow you to charge your portable device and output all 20 of the system's built-in games to the TV in your living room.

The handheld itself will pack a 4.3-inch LCD display, an expandable game card slot, internal stereo speakers, and a 3.5mm headphone jack so you don't annoy grannies on the bus.

"Great game consoles don't die; they're just reborn in much more affordable and convenient packages," Jonathan Wan, Tommo's CEO, said.

"The NeoGeo X Gold is a love letter to one of my favorite consoles of all time, and working with SNK Playmore to acquire the NeoGeo license, Tommo Inc. looks to provide gaming and entertainment enthusiasts with a classic arcade experience both at home and on the go."
