Save Santa from the Easter Bunny
Holy snow, it's Oops The Elf!
You might think Oops The Elf is something Santa says when he trips over and hears a muffled squeak. But no. Instead, it's the latest mobile game from Breakpoint, with a suitably festive theme.
The plotline is basically that Santa has been kidnapped by the Easter Bunny – professional jealousy, presumably, or for muscling onto his chocolate-gift turf. You play a plucky Christmas elf who has to rescue Santa and Save Christmas For The Kids.
This adds up to a platform game, as you may have guessed. You run around biffing enemies, while teleporting every so often too (ah, so that's how they manage to deliver all the gifts on Christmas Eve...)
There's also a bunch of power-ups to collect, including Invulnerability pills, fireballs, extra lives and 'super canes'.
Oops The Elf is due out by Christmas. I'm hoping there'll be a sequel next April where Santa gets to take his revenge on the Bunny, mind.
