Sirocco Mobile attempts to quench the Olympic Torch

Olympic Cease-Fire enters the athletic games race on mobile

Although it's certainly raising a dry smile around Pocket Gamer Towers, Sirocco Mobile's incendiary new anti-Olympic title looks set to stir up a bit of controversy.

Olympic Cease-Fire puts a wry and discordant comic lilt on the ever increasing slew of Olympic branded games by requiring you to travel the world attempting to extinguish the Olympic Torch.

By squirreling yourself away in the crowds, it's your divisive duty to sabotage the torch's global relay race, eliminate security and the police and hightail it out of there before your provocative deeds land you in Guantanamo Bay.

Controversy's a big seller (and often a lot of fun, right GTA fans?), and despite Sirocco Mobile lending its game a comic, cartoony visage, the contentious concept begs the question as to whether it managed to land any kind of official licence to actually use the Olympic brand in the game. It seems unlikely, due to the strong anti-Olympic theme, but it's definitely going to make for some interesting news.

Yes. Spanner's his real name, and he's already heard that joke you just thought of. Although Spanner's not very good, he's quite fast, and that seems to be enough to keep him in a regular supply of free games and away from the depressing world of real work.
