Ojom launches Mobile IQ Trainer game

But are we being dim for thinking the brain training bandwagon left town long ago?

Ojom launches Mobile IQ Trainer game

Ojom's latest mobile game is called Mobile IQ Trainer, and is the publisher's crack at the lucrative brain training market.

The game offers a mixture of maths, algebra, spatial thinking, memory and logic puzzles, and uses the tried and trusted technique of assessing your 'brain age' to show how well (or not) your grey cells are progressing.

Sudoku is included, and there's a talking robot called Bob to jolly you along. Well, it makes a difference from a moustached professor, we guess.

The problem faced by this game – and any like it – is that there are already lots of brain trainers available for mobile, from the polished (Brain Challenge) to the technically innovative (Brain Genius).

We've yet to play it, obviously, but at first sight it's unclear what Mobile IQ Trainer has to offer that would dislodge either of those from your handset (or, indeed, the operator portals). Nevertheless, it's out this month.
