Oh, My Word 2 out now on the App Store

There seem to be a growing number of developers testing their creative skills when it comes to quiz, number and word-based iPhone games.

Just over the past couple of weeks, I've been playing Tragnarion's Map my Mind and Wikipedia link-follower PediaPedia. Connect2Media has also released String 'em In.

And now Mobile Pie has released a sequel to Oh, My Word.

Rob's already previewed the game, which gets to you guess a series of mystery five letter words by giving you a word that's before it in the dictionary, and one that's after it. You have to keep narrowing down the search area by inputting words until you guess the right answer.

The sequel adds new timed-based modes - Time Attack and Survival - support for the Plus+ social network for achievements and leaderboards, as well as a graphical overhaul.

Mobile Pie obviously think such additions are worth more than an update and hence have packaged the game as a sequel.

You can see Will Luton and Tom Dowding explaining all about it in the following video.
