Official rugby league game to take to the pitch this Christmas

Rugby League's Super League will soon be rucking in your pocket, courtesy of developer Creative North, which has been awarded the contract to develop an official game based on the sport.

The mobile phone game will be called Official Rugby Super League and will include a 50-team roster, all the club logos, team colours and up-to-date player details, too. All current players are accurately represented and will be available to take part in a full season or shorter championship mode. The twelve Super League teams from the top division, including Huddersfield Giants, Bradford Bulls and Leeds Rhinos, will all be present and correct, for example.

Not only is it set to be authentic, we're being promised that it'll look the part, too, rivalling anything released on mobile phone so far. We won't have long to wait and see - the game's scheduled for release this December.
