Office Survivors phones work

What is it with the current rash of office-based mobile phone games? First Office Massacre, followed swiftly of course by Office Zombies, and now Office Survivors; we're expecting Ricky Gervais to arrive to claim his due in a mobile dancing game any moment now.

Office Survivors is less bloodthirsty than it might have been, given our previous experiences of the genre (and of offices). A simple looking platform game that sees you sneaking about shirking responsibility and avoiding angry managers, hopeless delivery boys and killer vending machines, it's clearly the brainchild of someone with too much 'face time' on their RSI-ridden hands.

Perhaps the evil-office-game genre has its roots in the backlash against bureaucracy that started last year in the book world; see French trendsetter Corinne Maier's Hello Laziness!: Why Hard Work Doesn't Pay and Steve McKevitt's just released City Slackers.

Whatever the cause, office life has never been less aspirational. We suggest you take your chosen pocket gaming device to a locked cubicle near this PC immediately. (Quick! Sit there, and you'll be 'empowered' or 'tasked' before you even reach the keypad!)
