Ocean Commander DS screenshots faked
Might not look quite as good as we thought after all
Yesterday we brought you news Lexicon Entertainment will be publishing a new side-scrolling alien-blasting shooter called Ocean Commander on DS and Wii early next year, and screenshots too.
However, the more-eagle-eyed-than-us folk over at CVG have noticed at least two of the four screenshots released yesterday have been craftily faked.
Compare the Wii one with the DS one (below) and you'll see they're actually identical. The DS ones appear to just be two Wii shots attached to give the illusion of the DS top screen and bottom screen.

So the futuristic space shooter might not look quite as good as we thought when it's eventually released.
We'll generously assume the reason for the faked shots was a lack of relevant assets from the development team rather than Lexicon trying to hide the fact the DS version looks rubbish. But, before we get to see the real thing, don't go getting too excited about this being one of the best-looking DS shooters yet, just in case.
