O2 mobile game download charts and new releases: April 25th

There are few follies more acute than letting a bandicoot loose on a kart, least of all one whose first name is Crash. Which is why such antics are best confined to mobile games. Like in this week's new release Crash Bandicoot Nitro Kart, in fact.

If, however, such a cocktail of madcap automotive thrills isn't enough to sate you appetite for danger, then perhaps the very direct Bumper Car City is worth checking out.

If it's less danger, more mental challenge you require, Wordox Word Snatcher could just be the sort of sober title to fit your needs. Though, be warned: having your ego broken into tiny pieces by being made to feel brutishly inarticulate is pretty much part of the fun here.

So if you'd rather break something else, Brick Breaker Deluxe 2 is a masterclass in destruction, though not of the mindless type; this is more 'controlled demolition' than 'smashing things with hammers'. Of course, if you do like to smash things with hammers, it might be worth getting your fortune told, just in case you are on the wrong path in life. Because, well, you never know until you check. If that's the case then Mystic Meg's Palm Readers might be worth a look.

In the charts, meanwhile, the top end has remained largely unchanged with Monopoly Here & Now still sitting in its throne, a place it it is likely to monopolise (sorry) for quite some time. Casino 12 Pack has shot up into fifth place, though, while Deal or No Deal and Midnight Pool have both made re-entries, knocking Ms Pac-Man and The Simpsons Minutes to Meltdown out into the cold.
