O2 mobile game download charts and new releases: April 18th

There is a sort of theme park vibe going on in this week's new releases (just roll with us on this one okay?). The mobile equivalent of Sea World is provided by Zoo Tycoon 2: Marine Mania and then there's the big budget action stage show of Mercenaries 2. Of course, no theme park would be complete without a good honest attack on the arteries so Dinner Dash 2 is taking care of the junk food element. Finishing it off is, erm, some pool in The Sims Pool 3D.

Okay, so that last one doesn't really fit in with this already tenuous analogy but maybe you would have a quick game at the bar in your hotel after a hard day's roller-coaster riding.

Speaking of roller-coaster rides, the charts this week have had a right good old shake up. It hasn't taken long for the recently refreshed Monopoly: Here and Now to rush up to the top end of the chart, ending Bejeweled's stubborn reign at number one and knocking it into second place. There has also been two new entries with Sonic 2: Dash and Casino 12 pack, as well as two re-entries with the ever wavering Simpsons: Minutes to Meltdown and the classic hero of puzzle gaming, Tetris returning.

That means that Golden Balls has finally been given the boot, along with the slightly less tenacious CSI: Vegas, Command & Conquer 3 and World Snooker 08.
