O2 mobile game download charts and new releases: February 29th

It's funny how the human race is prone to thinking of visitors from outer space as war-mongering dictators bent on turning us into junk food for their children (Independence Day, War of the Worlds etc).

For all we know they might be thoroughly benevolent beings, only visiting in order to help steer us away from our own self-destructive course. Friendly aliens don't make for such entertaining game fodder however, and in Destroy all Humans: Crypto does Vegas, you will be able to gleefully blow up, torment and ray gun the bejesus out of everything that moves.

Similarly, robots, when they are not doing menial tasks, are often thought of in entertainment as beings that have surpassed human intelligence and are now intent on showing us primates who's boss (Terminator, iRobot, The Matrix). In Kamikaze Robots however, such a highly evolved intellect has clearly led to feelings that are more bleak and hopeless than despotic, causing the metallic bunch to end it all.

This week also sees the release of Midnight Darts for your spatial dexterity and Blockbusters: 2nd Edition for some mental exercise. And if you are feeling frugal, there's two 2-4-1 titles in the shape the chalk and cheese pair of pairs, 2-4-1 Mahjong Solitaire and 2-4-1 Action Pack.

In the charts, Bejeweled and EA Sports FIFA Manager 08 are still holding the top two spots while the only new entry is Tetris, knocking The Simpsons: Minutes to Meltdown out of the top ten. As usual, everything else has had a bit of a shuffle, read on for all the details.
