O2 mobile game download charts and new releases: January 18th

It's a dark and bitter month is January, which is why a little bit of escapism is all the more necessary. You could start by throwing a tuned to perfection rally car around a muddy track in Sega Rally. If such high-octane pursuits are not enough to drive you to distraction, however, you could always try knotting your grey matter with something a little more brow furrowing.

Both Are You Smarter Than a 10 Year Old? and FIFA Manager 08 seem like they would be well suited to the task but if you're unphased by January's dreary qualities and are just up for a bit of good old fashioned gaming, Arkanoid Deluxe or Premier League Snooker should be able to supply you with the fix you need.

In the charts, meanwhile, very little has been going on. Jewel Quest has been replaced by Lumines and everything else has once again had a bit of a rank and file rearrange. The Sims 2, Deal or No Deal and Tetris Mania are still doing their weekly jostle for the top-spot, with The Sims 2 coming out on top this week.
