O2 mobile game download charts and new releases: January 25th

Some people are just born under a black star. Take Jack Bauer for example, having a bad day so that we don't have to is a pretty nice gesture and then on his days off he has to conduct Special Ops in the latest 24 mobile game, such is the life of a fictional character.

Alpha males of a very different kind are working up a sweat in Asterix and Obelix: The Official Mobile Game of the Movie this week and all to win the affections of a lady love. Joining these two games are another couple of licensed efforts from Disney, namely Cars: Radiator Springs 500 and Enchanted, both of which are spilling over with radioactive levels of colour and vibrancy which is always welcome in the dark and dank month of January.

Perhaps the best of this week's newbies is Vivendi Mobile's Slide 'N Loop, a charming little puzzler that has black hole-like time sucking powers. Last of this week's six new releases is Trickshot Hustler which is designed for those that fancy themselves as a bit of a pool shark but can't bring themselves to strut that flock of seagulls haircut and short sleeved suit combo in public.

And so on with the chart where the only new entry this week is Jasper Carrott's Golden Balls which usurpes Lumines Bock Challenge at the tail end of the chart. Elsewhere all of the usual suspects are continuing their merry once a week re-jig with Tetris Mania claiming the top spot for this week.
