O2 mobile game download charts and new releases: April 13th
Deal or No Deal finally falls, but who has burst Noel's bubble?
November 9th 1989: The fall of the Berlin wall. November 22nd 1963: The assasination of President Kennedy. August 31st 1997: The tragic death of Princess Diana.
The dates of all of these events are indelibly etched upon the popular psyche. And now we must surely add April13th 2007 to that list.
Yes friends, we have to confirm that what they've been saying in the morning papers is true. Noel Edmonds has fallen. Deal or No Deal is no longer number one!
It's a terrible shock to the system we realise. Go on, have a sit down, take a moment, have a little cry if you like. Once you get over the initial shock you'll see it's not all bad though. Indeed, even publisher Gameloft is unlikely to be too glum at the prospect as it is its own puzzle phenomenon Bubble Bash that has hurdled past Tetris into the top spot.
The future looks bright, too. Among the new arrivals on O2's portal, AMA Perfect Body Diet sounds like just the thing to follow an egg-cessive Easter binge, and family favourite Connect 4 Challenge could well be lining up a stealthy chart entry.
However it's Sonic Jump that looks most likely to spring into a high-ranking spot next week. Will Glu's spiky Hedgehog be able to burst Gameloft's bubble? Tune back in seven days!
