O2 mobile game download charts and new releases: March 2nd
Real Football kicks off and Bejeweled 2 slots into a high chart place, but has Noel finally been toppled?
Well it had to happen one day, and now it finally has! That's right, Noel Edmonds' record-breaking hold on the top spot has finally been relinquished...
We refer of course to the top spot in the prestigious 'TV Beardy Weirdy of the Year' award, which has been ripped from his grasp by musical funnyman Bill Bailey. Back in the mobile download charts it's very much business as usual, as Edmond's Deal or No Deal continues to peer down from its lofty perch on a largely familiar chasing pack. However, it can't have escaped Noels' notice that both old favourite My Dog and newly released puzzler Bejeweled 2 are closing fast. Couple this with the arrival of the critically acclaimed soccer sim Real Football 2007 and cult arcade classic Double Dragon EX, and Edmond's might well have cause to sweat.
Can Gameloft's game of chance survive yet another week in the top box? Could the nation finally be tiring of the TV tie-in? Will Edmonds run out of pithy remarks? All shall be revealed next week: Welcome to Planet Tension!
