O2 mobile game download charts and new releases: January 12th

Brave New Year, and a brand new top 10... oh, hang on!

It seems that cutting down on Noel Edmonds hasn't featured heavily on too many resolution lists, as the bearded wonder continues to lord it atop the charts with Deal or No Deal.

Indeed with sales racking up at record levels, could even the legendary Bryan Adams' chart topping achievements be under threat? Not if EA Mobile can help it: The Sims Pets 2 is getting its claws in at number two, Need for Speed Carbon is still firing on all cylinders at four, and new release Pictionary could draw some big sales in the weeks ahead.

Add to this the imminent descent onto mobile of Capcom's Lost Planet and Gameloft's own Meteos and it's clear that Edmonds going to have his work cut out to stay top of the heap.
