O2 mobile game download charts and new releases: February 7th

It must be a weird existence, being Chuck Norris. This is a guy who sparred with Bruce Lee, who’s had his own line of clothing allowing you to perform high kicks while wearing jeans, and he’s never really been off the telly in a career that’s spanned three decades.

And yet, he seems to have developed something of a kitsch reputation. He’s become a comic character that overshadows any of the parts he plays in any TV series or movie.

But there’s no denying that his onscreen persona is massively entertaining, and it’s great to see that he doesn’t take himself too seriously. Need proof? Then check out his tongue-in-cheek beat-‘em-up from Glu, Chuck Norris - Bring on the Pain.

But Chuck’s not the only retro celebrity to battle his way back onto the mobile this week. Pac-Man’s also making a triumphant return to the gaming arena, and for the first time since the early ‘80s we’ve actually been given an update worth playing again.

The game remains pretty much the same, except we’ve now got 4-player multiplayer that even lets you take on the role of the ghosts.

Last is definitely not least is the return of the immortal (well, not immortal, as the game clearly demonstrates) Lemmings, in Lemmings Tribes.

unstoppable mammals have been entertaining us for almost 20 years, and it’s great to see there’s still an unquenchable supply of the green-haired, suicidal rodents to keep the franchise alive.
